Series
“AMS” Sludge-To-Sludge & Water-To-Sludge Heat Exchangers are custom
built to your requirements in the concentric tube counter-flow style.
This design is the gold standard for the industry, proven to be the most
efficient design available.
Sludge
must be heated to more than 130°F and transferred to a thermophilic
digester. The sludge is then cooled before being pumped to a
conventional mesophilic (less than 120°F) digester. Series “AMS” heat
exchanger is used to accomplish both tasks - removing heat from the
thermophilic transfer sludge before it goes to the mesophilic digester
and using the recovered heat to preheat raw sludge for the thermophilic
digester.
Series
“AMS” Sludge Heat Exchangers meet ASME standards and are National
Board inspected and stamped.
