Quality Plate & Frame Heat Exchangers
|
Gasketed
or Brazed Plates any configuration available to meet your
application requirements.
|
Typical Applications:
industrial, commercial, food, dairy, hygienic, HVAC and marine applications.
Gasketed
from 13.2 Gal/Hour to 528,000 Gal/Hour of Liquid Flow
A Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger consists of a
number of pressed metal plates each with a rubber gasket. The gaskets are
arranged in such a way so as to allow two fluids to pass in opposite
directions up and down alternate channels.
The plates are compressed between two heavy metal
plates (head & follower) by a number of clamping bolts.
The design of the exchanger enables it to be
easily dismantled for cleaning or addition of extra plates.
Brazed Plates
The operating pressure can be as high as
435 PSI
Contrary
to the traditional plate heat exchanger the
brazed plate heat exchanger does not contain rubber
gaskets and can thus operate continuously at the temperatures from minus
2920 F up to 3900 F.
